These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Easy Wills & Trusts's estate planning document preparation service. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using our service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Easy Wills & Trusts provides an online platform for preparing estate planning documents, including living trusts, pour-over wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. We are a document preparation service — not a law firm — and we do not provide legal advice.

3. Not Legal Advice

Easy Wills & Trusts provides legal documents based on attorney-reviewed templates. This service is not legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. The documents we generate are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney who can evaluate your specific situation.

We strongly encourage you to consult a qualified estate planning attorney, especially if your situation involves complex assets, blended families, business interests, or significant estate tax considerations.

4. Account Terms

  • You must register with a valid email address
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
  • One person per account — accounts may not be shared or transferred
  • You must provide accurate and complete information

5. Payment Terms

  • Creating an account and completing the questionnaire is free
  • Pricing is per document and per package; the price shown at checkout depends on which documents you select and whether you are an individual or a couple. See the Pricing page for current rates.
  • A one-time payment is required to view and download your completed documents; the total is itemized at checkout before you pay
  • Payment is processed securely by Stripe
  • You may edit your documents within 30 days of purchase at no additional charge; later edits or amendments may incur an additional fee shown at checkout
  • Fees are non-refundable once documents have been generated and accessed

6. Intellectual Property

Our document templates, platform design, and content are proprietary to Easy Wills & Trusts. The personalized legal documents generated for you using our templates are yours — you own them and may use them as permitted by law.

7. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in the questionnaire
  • Review all generated documents carefully before signing
  • Understand that document accuracy depends on the accuracy of your inputs
  • Follow all applicable signing and notarization requirements in your state

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Easy Wills & Trusts DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE DOCUMENTS GENERATED WILL BE LEGALLY SUFFICIENT FOR YOUR SPECIFIC SITUATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Easy Wills & Trusts'S LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF OUR SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICE OR RELIANCE ON ANY DOCUMENTS WE GENERATE.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Maricopa County, Arizona.

11. Changes to Terms

We will notify you via email of any material changes to these Terms before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
